Construction and on-water behaviour The quadruple luff sleeve construction maximizes strength and minimizes stretch in the most critically loaded area of the sail. Taffeta in the upper luff panel further improves load distribution and stretch resistance, while Lite Skin Aramid in the clew enhances durability and abrasion resistance. Six out of seven battens are full carbon tubes, reducing weight and improving stability, especially in heavy gusts. The airflow-optimized batten layout ensures clean aerodynamics and smoother rotation by aligning the battens with the natural sailing rake of the rig.
