Its compact proportions help reduce inertia, allowing the Surge to react quickly to rider input and stay controlled during aggressive maneuvers. Lowered deck and direct control The lowered deck reduces thickness directly under the rider’s feet, improving the connection between rider, board and foil. This creates a more direct feel, especially during dynamic transitions and technical maneuvers. Rider stance and US rail positioning are optimized to reduce inertia and maintain ideal balance in flight. AERYN’s proprietary positioning algorithm further contributes to the compact and responsive character of the board. Thicker nose and controlled landings The thicker nose is designed to soften landings while also supporting early lift-off.
