The SS04-onw designation refers to the board generation from the 2004 season onwards. This means the handle is designed for a mounting system used across multiple generations of Twin Tip kiteboards, rather than exclusively for boards manufactured in 2004. It is compatible with suitable Duotone Twin Tip boards and older North Kiteboarding models, including boards produced before the transition to the Duotone brand in 2018, provided they use the same mounting system. Please note: The SS04-onw designation does not guarantee compatibility with every kiteboard manufactured after 2004. Always check the mounting hole spacing before purchasing. 180 mm Mounting Hole Spacing The handle features a mounting hole spacing of 180 mm, measured from the centre of one hole to the centre of the other. It can also be installed on kiteboards from other brands, provided they have the same insert spacing and accept M6 mounting screws. Before purchasing, measure the distance between the centres of the two handle mounting inserts on your board to ensure a proper fit.
