Character and purpose V8 has long been a bestseller in the power freeride category thanks to its strong low-end drive, early planing and excellent aerodynamic stability. The 2026 model maintains its RS:Racing-inspired geometry but remains much easier to handle than a full slalom sail. Two mini cams lock the profile in place, while the narrower luff sleeve improves rigging, waterstarts and jibes. Construction and on-water behaviour Ultra PE X-Ply reinforcement in the foot and clew increases durability while reducing weight. The double luff panel provides extra strength and clean load distribution in this high-stress zone. Airflow tubular battens reduce drag and improve high-speed stability.
